Get to Know Nicole Denison!

My name is Nicole Denison AKA Ms. Incredible! That’s my business name, and it’s what I like to be for my clients. There’s nothing like helping a new business get off the ground or helping an overwhelmed business owner streamline their operations. I love freeing their time, so they can feel good about their business again. My work is important to their success, and their success is my happiness.

 I have 16 years of administrative and marketing experience. I graduated from Fox Business College in 1998 with an Executive Assistant Certification. I went to work as an executive assistant for a small cap hedge fund owner. I was the first employee and left the company right after we had hired our eighteenth team member. During my seven years there, I learned to be a strong executive assistant and how to run a business. I worked directly with the owner and handled HR, Marketing, and Operations. My job was to protect the owner’s time because he needed to focus on what he did best to keep his business running. I took care of the rest. During my time there, I went back to school as well and received my B.A. in Business Administration.

Though I cherished my role at the hedge fund, I needed to make a change to accommodate my growing family. I went to work for a paper recycling company for three years, first as the Director of Office Operations, then as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.

In 2010 I decided I was ready for a change and was seeking a way I could do what I love in a way that worked for me. I wanted to do more. I found AssistU online, and the idea of providing support to small business owners in a virtual capacity instantly resonated with me. The seed was planted. A few months later, I was let go from my job. That gave me the opportunity I needed to realize this dream. I immediately signed up for AssistU’s training program, became a graduate and started my business. I never looked back. I started picking up clients, and my practice was full six months later. I love what I do and feel great about coming to work every day.

I love to learn and grow and am always looking for ways to develop myself personally and professionally. I have taken tons of certification courses and webinars over the years. These include Social Media Measurement and Image Marketing. I also had the opportunity to go to Los Angeles to attend the Today’s Innovative Women in Business Success Summit, and I was honored with the Innovative Woman in Business Award.When I’m not busy being incredible for my clients, I spend the rest of my time being a “super” mom to my two children, Destiny and John Patrick, and our two fur babies, Bella and Bo. I love reading, cooking, swimming, walking, hanging out in nature, practicing a healthy, holistic lifestyle, and throwing theme parties. I’m also an active Cub Scout mom. I advocate for causes involving the health and welfare of children, better/alternative education and bipolar and autism awareness.
